Looking for Pet Health Insurance in Arizona?
Just like everyone else in your family, pets get sick sometimes. In fact, one in three pets will need unexpected veterinary care each year. And it isn’t just older dogs and cats, either.
According to 2010 Petplan claims data, dogs under the age of one are actually 2.5 times more likely than their older brethren to have an unexpected visit to the vet. And while every parent wants to provide their pets with the best care possible, sometimes the high costs can force you to ask your vet for less expensive alternatives.
Pets bring great joy to a family, but they can also be very expensive to care for.
As pet parents, we want to provide our dogs and cats with the best possible care, no matter what. But when accidents and illnesses come up unexpectedly, the costs can quickly run in to the hundreds, and even thousands, of dollars.
Pet insurance gives you the peace of mind that, in the event that your pet becomes sick or injured, your expenses will be covered.
As technology has improved in recent years, so has the overall quality of veterinary care. However, these improvements have resulted in higher costs and tougher decisions for pet owners.
The last thing Soss & Associates wants is for you to have to forgo a potentially life-saving surgery for your family pet, because you cannot afford it.

About our coverages
Accidents
Accident coverage will take care of costs for injuries and emergencies related to accidents, like torn ligaments, bite wounds, cuts, broken bones, lodged foreign objects and toxic ingestions.
Illnesses
With illness coverage, you’ll be reimbursed for the costs of major and minor illnesses, such as cancer, arthritis, allergies, hypothyroidism, digestive problems and UTIs.
Hereditary and congenital conditions
This coverage is for the costs of inherited conditions and birth defects that don’t show symptoms until later in your pet’s life, like heart disease, IVDD, eye disorders and hip dysplasia.
Behavioral issues
Behavioral issues coverage can help with the costs of vet visits for concerning behaviors that may be related to anxiety or compulsive behavior, like excessive licking, fur pulling and destruction of the home.
The optional preventive care add-on covers benefits including:
- Vaccinations
- Annual physicals
- Flea prevention
Coverage for preventive care (if purchased for a little more per month) begins immediately on the plan’s effective date. There is a 14-day waiting period for coverage for accidents, illnesses and knee/ligament injuries.
Although premiums will increase as a covered pet gets older, a policy will never be cancelled or downgraded due to a pet’s age or health.
